Since the age of 3, Ray has been studying jazz and tap dancing at Broadway Dance Center and Peridance, hip-hop at Kelly Peter Dance and ballet at Joffrey Ballet.[1] In 2008, she played Sally Bowles in a controversial school production of the musical Cabaret.She now sings in The Dalton School's a cappella group"Sweet n' Low". Ray is the younger sister of filmmaker Jackson Waite of California
